Larry and Betty, and I shared the next steps involued starting their business.   We left the restaurant and I felt happy for them. They were about to wed—marriage and business partners all in one!

I reflected on my early years of marriage to Gail.  I reflected on all of the adjustments, the mistakes I made, the dumb things I said, the sometime painful lessons of growing individually and as a couple, the laughter and the overall wonderful feeling of being in a committed relationship with someone who loves you.

Best Wishes to their family. I sincerely hope that:

Larry and Betty continue to grow and work hard at remaining caring individuals, husband, spouse, father, mother, and successful business owners.

When his daughter comes of age, she will seek out and develop relationships with male friends who demonstrate the loving attributes she witnessed between her father and mother.

When his son comes of age, he will seek out like-minded friends.  When he develops relationships with women, that he will treat them well and desire to establish a relationship as respectful and loving as the one he witnessed between his father and mother.

Larry and Betty are in the beginning of establishing and leaving a legacy to their children—one of character, healthy values, a caring heart, and a successful business that will pass to future generations.

That I continue a positive life mentor and friend along the way.  Throughout our relationship I want him to know that he will always have my support.  Larry, and young men like him—well, they are the reason I am here.

We are just getting started.

Happy Father’s Day Weekend, Larry!
